Chocolate Ice-cream (vegan & gluten-free)

  Chocolate Decadence

Hello my little seals!!

Another round for chocolate decadence! More and more chocolate (and more recipe to come) 🙂

This time, I felt like ice-cream (again), as I have recently started to make vegan ice cream, I thought I should try a new flavour, starting with a classic: chocolate ice-cream. As for the coffee ice-cream, I have used coconut milk, which takes the chocolate flavour very well, and brings the creamy texture.

Here we go: vegan chocolate ice-cream, dairy-free, egg-free and gluten-free.

(You will need an ice-cream maker for this recipe.)

Ingredients:

-400 ml coconut milk

-40 g agave syrup or dates syrup

-70 g of 100% cocoa powder

How to proceed:

Pour the coconut milk in a sauce pan, and bring it to a boil, stirring. Put to a low fire and add the date syrup (or agave syrup) and the cocoa powder, stir. When it is homogeneous, remove from the stove and let it cool down.

When the mix is cold, stir it and pour it in your ice-cream maker, following its instruction. VOILA!

Perfect occasion for this vegan coffee ice-cream:

-dessert for lunch/dinner

-summer afternoon snack
